This past Fall I was invited to perform for the Keshvar Project’s Day of the Dead Hafla, held at the intimate York St Cafe in Newport, Kentucky. Of course, I jumped on the opportunity, and because I was performing a solo, my music, costuming, and dance choices were practically endless and uncensored. I decided to go with something a little different, and found that “Gravedigger” by the Dave Matthews Band (live version/Radio City) was calling to me.

Mark Stucker, a dear friend and uber-talented musician from Keshvar Project, kindly videotaped the performances from this evening, and so I thought I’d share mine here. The entire evening was amazing…you can see pictures of the incredible Day of the Dead makeup and more on Facebook.
